Here's a story I wrote. In the grand tradtition of my website, It's not really good enough to submit anywhere, but then it's not that bad, and it needed a home. It's still better than 99.99999999999999% of the internet, so cut me some fricken slack. Read Gift.

I cleaned up some stuff around the website. It's been long overdue, and there were cobwebs in the HTML, and a foul odor emanating from the basement. But a little elbow grease and a couple other cliches later, everything is BEAUTIFUL again.

Hey, look at me! I'm catching up with the times. I've just started as a staff blogger over at RIVET Magazine's website. What does that mean for you? Well, I hadn't thought it through that far, but you will get to read my brief opinions of things once a week. Sometimes I'm funny. RIVET, RIVET.

I hadn't delivered the goods in a while, so I made a point to make at least a short entry into the world of Rommel Busker. He'll be appearing in my novel which I'll begin writing in about 4 months, so keep an eye out.
NEW ROMMEL BUSKER: 9 to 5

I submitted a 500-word memoir for a contest at Opium Magazine. I didn't make the finalists, the but the folks over there were kind enough to ask if they could put it on their website. I guess that makes me, like, a published author and shit. Check it out over at Opium Magazine.

I'll be performing with the band Roll on Rodney at a benefit concert, July 28th on Tybee. I'll hopefully have some more details before then, so I can, you know, show up myself.

I won a Southeast Regional Emmy for Outstanding Achievement
Television Crafts Achievement Excellence - Editor - Program. I achieved something so great they had to say achievment twice. This is my second Emmy, and as I said last year, this is outstandingly excellent.

According to the readers of Connect Savannah, the O.C. Welch Ford/Lincoln/Mercury commercials are the best in town. Those from the Savannah area surely realize the irony of this selection, but that don't mean it won't go on the old resume. (*People here are dumb.)
